My default fandom these days is Stargate SG-1, but my usual MO is to look over the prompts and see if the Muse has any ideas.

I read an interesting suggestion at the beginning of the year regarding choosing a word(s) as a theme. My word this year is fitness. I want to work on physical, mental, and financial fitness. And it has been very hard for me to set moderate goals for reading/writing/gaming and not "Go Big" on everything.

Right now, life is pretty sweet for me in terms of personal time--but I have 3/4 of my staff returning to school next week, and so am tasked with hiring one and training one that's already been hired to fill those hours...or I lose my personal time until I can. :(

Then--goals are kaput!

But I've learned not to rush hiring or training--it just never ends well...
