Today's Challenge - A random act of kIndness


I can't exactly call today's act "random" as I have donated to Sea Shepherd for the last 3 years on this day in honor of Richard Dean Anderson's birthday.

I really like the idea of donating to someone's favorite charity in their name. It is a no brainer in the case of a celebrity, but my husband and I have started doing this for gift-giving occasions for each other. Most have very small min. donations, if any, and the best part, there is no rarely used item taking up space.

Here are some of the charities we support:
Sea Shepherd
The Elephant Sanctuary
Northwest Airedale Rescue
Battersea Rescue

What a wonderful thing to do. Is Seas Shepherd a charity you chose, or is something Richard Dean Anderson supports?

Sea Shepherd is one of his-- he donates all money collected from convention appearances/autograph signings/photo-ops to charity - which is way cool.

The Elephant Sanctuary and Northwest Airedale Rescue are two of my own favorites.
